Continuing on the success of last year's "How to Succeed With Your Bachelor's Degree" event, the Golden Key Career Committee has organized another one for this year that's coming up really soon! These inspirational speakers have an amazing amount of experience to share with us about their transitions from university life into a successful career world. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds but are united in their career achievements. The speakers include a CIBC investment manager, a personal career trainer, a UBC Co-op representative, a pharmacist, and several others. Come and hear what they have to say about their leap from university into their careers. Don't miss out on the Career Committee's final event of this term!

That's why Golden Key is organizing a sports night!! Come and get your butt moving in the noble sport of dodgeball! Work the flab off your underarms in a rousing game of volleyball! Work those legs in electrifying basketball match! Who doesn't love dodging, volleying and basketing balls? Get your GK spirit moving!.

The Alumni Committee is hosting a "Public Speaking/Debate Workshop" for everyone who would like to increase their confidence, and public speaking skills. Our guest speakers are from the UBC Toastmaster Club and the UBC Debate Club. They will help you to overcome your fear of public speaking, improve your participation in work or class situations and also teach you how you can better voice your opinion. They will discuss a wide-range of tactics on how to improve yourself, so don't miss this once in a lifetime opportunity to build your confidence in any situation!

Food and beverages will be served. For those participating in the stamp program, this event will earn you 3 stamps.

The end of the year is winding down, so why not take some time off to meet with fellow Golden Key Members, The Execs, and Honorary Members for a wine & cheese event? It's a casual event for everyone to mingle, so come and drop by!

Special Note: Due to implications over liquor licensing, there will be no alcohol served at the event. There will be non-alocholic beverages and food provided by AMS catering. Sorry for the disappointment. It will be a fun event nontheless so I hope to see you there!
