Mission Statement

Whether you are looking for a part-time job, applying for a co-op position, or deciding what to do after graduation, pinpointing your career and developing the necessary skills to pursue that field is not a walk in the park. Here at the UBC Golden Key Career Committee, we host events that help prepare our members for their professional life. In the past we have organized workshops, forums, and speaker series on cover letter/resume/interview tips, networking, business etiquette, and the hidden job market - to name a few. Our events are an excellent way to meet new people, expand your network, and learn a number of skills essential for your professional life.

The Career Committee also works alongside with the Academic Committee to identify and execute events that have both an academic and professional focus for members. By working with volunteer members and leaders of the UBC Golden Key Chapter, the committee hopes to equip each of our members the knowledge and preparation required to meet the challenges and demands of today's competitive society.

We welcome motivated and goal-orientated individuals to bring their practical and innovative ideas to our committee. Together, we will work closely in shaping these ideas into meaningful realities.
